Auroran map showing Xianbia

Xianbia is a continent predominantly in the eastern hemisphere. It is bordered on the southeast by the Majonian Ocean, on the northeast by the Machweo Sea, and on the northwest by the Patronic Ocean. It covers an area of about xxx sq km (xxx sq mi), about xx% of the planet's surface or about xx% of its land area.

Both the equator and the prime meridian cross Xianbia within Catai, near the western edge of the continent. From this arises the Xianbian claim to be the center of Aurora. The equator of course is a simple fact of the geometry of the world, but the reason for the location of the prime meridian is the ancient observatory of xxxxx, where the yyyyyy of zzzzz defined the center of his maps and geographical calculations.

Xianbia, with its twin peaks of 3066 and 3065 meters just nine kilometers apart, has the lowest extreme elevation of all the continents. There is still rugged terrain, but the surface is geologically much older than many other places across Aurora, with weathered mountains and extensive coastal plains. Except for the savannah of the far north coast, and some patches of dry shrublands, were it not for human activities the whole of the continent would no doubt be thickly forested. Certainly the amount of rainfall would support a universal rain forest / jungle -- at the central Kantonian gulf, precipitation tops 170 cm per year. Even including the aforementioned dry areas, the overall average is some 135cm per year. Only southwestern Abezin is hotter; only a swath of Kijana Hian is wetter.
