Strategic Air Service
The Strategic Air Service is a "specialized command" that operates as a branch of the N.S.U. Air Corps and is responsible for long-range bombardment of strategic and tactical targets. The Strategic Air Service (SAS), also controls the infrastructure necessary to support the strategic bomber and all strategic operations, such as aerial refueling tanker aircraft to refuel the bombers in flight, strategic reconnaissance aircraft, command post aircraft, fighter escorts, and special attack subs.
Bombers of the SAS and their Role
The bomber force of the N.S.U. Air Corps is the backbone of the Strategic Air Service and is designed around the role of the NSU bombers.
The IB-59 Boreas is the main strategic bomber of the North Shurkan Union and also some are adapted for the role of carrying missiles for anti-ship purposes.
