Location of Paahdemeri.
Paahdemeri is the body of water separating Danetia from Samir. It indents from the Eastern Abecean Ocean. It stretches some 2100 km west to east, and spans 780 km at its widest point.
Often called the Paahdemeri Sea, its proper name omits the word "sea", since the "-meri" suffix itself means sea. The name derives from Taiman words meaning "hot sea", a reference to the marked difference in temperature between it and the Abecean just outside its mouth.
