His Excellency Baron János Georgiev is the current Ambassador and Chief of the Sacred and Imperial Mission of the Court of St Stanislaus (Translithania) to the Antaran Dominion.

Early Years

János Georgiev is a seasoned civil servant, having started out as a clerk in the Moskovaskaya Public Cemetery at the age of 15. Born to a construction worker and a laundrywoman, he experienced the plight of many of Translithania's subjects. Many of his peers have considered him a very driven person, and yet, wonderfully humble. He is known to be quite the comedian, though many have likewise testified to his temperament to those who fail him.

Within the political circles of Antara, the ambassador is thought of very favorably.

Political Career

After passing the Imperial Civil Service examinations, he worked his way up from Associate Clerk at the Ministry of Education to Superintendent of the Higher Technical Studies Department at the Ministry of the Interior before being appointed to the Board of Directors of Petrolithania, then a state-owned firm. His management experience brought him to the Vice-Chairmanship of the Imperial Estates Authority, and from there, to working for the Imperial Chancellor as Assistant Private Secretary. He is a reservist in the Sacred and Imperial Army, holding the rank of Brigadier.

Honors and Awards

János Georgiev was raised to the peerage of the Realms of the Sacred and Imperial Crown of St Stanislaus in Alexander III's June 2118 Honors List,for his services to the Realm and diplomacy.
