Inaria is the southernmost continent of Aurora, and is thus located entirely within the southern hemisphere. The south pole is located upon the Inarian landmass, but not centrally: approximately 60% of the polar ice mass forming over the southern Joharan and Jyaltic Oceans.
Although the Inarian landmass south of the xxth parallel is cold and inhospitable, with current temperatures averaging around yy degrees C, a notable exception is the Akkalan Peninsula. This extends some kk kilometers to the north, and is bounded by the Jyaltic and Abacean Oceans. Even in the depths of the seasonal winter some pp% remains free of ice and snow, forming a suitable foothold for continuing human habitation.
The islands off the Akkalan Peninsula are conventionally included within Inaria, as is Walrussa
