Official Viewpoint - The North Shurkan Union looks upon Anahuac as a young landlocked nation which the North Shurkan Union sees as a ticking time-bomb just causing problems for Lusitierra. But with the Torentine Empire's intervention and "occupation", the NSU sees possible stability in the region.

Average North Shurkan - The Average North Shurkan views the Dominion as a place across the ocean playing its role as "superpower", as well as a nice place to study and to trade. Also translated Antaran children novels are famous among North Shurkan children.

The Chairman's Thoughts - Coming into office the office of Chairman in the last month of 2119, Dyrn Vriceyn has yet to speak much about the Antaran people and government. He plans to build off of previous relations set up by Sevaris Valkemi, who visited the current Praetor personally at least once for "unknown" reasons, and was one of the few foreign national leaders to have met with the Praetor personally. Based on strong ties set up between the NSU and Antara during the years of Cassio Lord Belesarious and sought to bring both nations together. Dyrn views the Dominion as a necessary ally in today's world.

Official Viewpoint - The North Shurkan Union views the Antaran Dominion as a respectful and hard working nation. In recent years Antara and the NSU have strengthened their economic ties to further develop each others nation. The Dominion and the Union hold respectable diplomatic relations with each other for many years to help create a strong relation between them and have developed and maintained considerable trade ties with each other.

In the past two decades, both the North Shurkan Union and Antara have cooperated together on many different projects, including the Avalon Dam Complex and the Phaeda Valley Dam Complex, which are great symbols of the relationship and partnership between them.

Having met their President, Hembold Colrendis, Dyrn describes Colrendis as "a cunning diplomat" along with "a generally nice man".

Official Viewpoint - The North Shurkan Union's attitude towards Ardea is often friendly and warm. Economically, trade flows freely between both nations and many large North Shurkan businesses have regional headquarters over there. Competition has grown between Ardea and the North Shurkan Union on the energy market, due to the fact that both are leading petroleum producers in the region.

Average North Shurkan - If asked on the streets about Deria, the typical response would be "Oh, those people" or "Cultural Entropy". Despite sharing the love for jazz, the average North Shurkan sees Derians as a wild people who destroy culture, and would rather not be around one because of what the propaganda said on the wall outside the Telescreen parlor. But Derian novels about "Greasers" are loved by the young, but many can't get a hold of such books, they are considered illegal within the NSU.

The Chairman's Thoughts - The Chairman views the Independent Republic of Deria as a nation filled with paranoia and the thought of freedom and liberty. He sees their people's uncontrolled freedom as a way to destroy history and culture, and because of it, he doesn't own a black leather jacket. He doesn't particularly like the current president, Grace Dent, nor the previous president Henry Woodward, but then again, he was criticized by them the last time they met each other about his "State control" over the country.

Official Viewpoint - The official viewpoint towards Deria is currently more of a beneficial trade and working towards a common interest. This can be seen through trade in military technologies and other technologies. Deria is a importer of North Shurkan, energy efficient products.

The Chairman's Thoughts - The Chairman sees Norya as Aurora's largest democracy and as a strong influencer in the world. Controlling one of the largest sized oil reservoirs, (Estimates place the size slightly larger than the North Shurkan Union's own oil reservoirs) sees Norya as an Energy power of northern Danetia and Miotus and wishes to strengthen relations with Henrik II and his people.

Official Viewpoint - In recent years, the North Shurkan Union and Norya hold many trade agreements. Healthy trade flows between the two nations and Noryan goods are well respected and are prized for their quality even though they are expensive and decently hard to find.

Norya is also a purchaser of North Shurkan aircraft and holds a couple of licences for the production of their own North Shurkan designed aircraft including the IB-64 Kestrel and the J-6 Spruce. The North Shurkan Union also purchases some ships from Noryan shipyards, renown for their quality and craftsmanship.

With Sevaris Valkemi in power, Odessa's arms trade has decreased drasticly on the Shurkan continent.
