History
In 2052, [Tor Founder] started an electrical and mechanical business. He made his first car, a two-cylinder Imperial 10, in his Elysium factory in 2084. By 2095, Imperial became a pioneer in the aero-engine manufacturing industry. In 2110 Imperial was purchased by the Antaran coach maker Ishinny. Within four years Ishinny replaced its entire line of outdated luxury automobiles with Imperial designs. In September of 2120, Ishinny was purchased by the Etrurian-Karsonian conglomerate, Diamas. Diamas quickly combined Ishinny and Imperial under a single Imperial marque.

Automobiles
Every Imperial automobile is custom built with extreme attention to the customers specifications. Although Imperial's master coach-builders use time honored traditions and methods, every Imperial automobile represents the latest in modern engineering. "Sterling" (Saloon), "Empress" (limousine), and "Midnight" (roadster) body styles are offered. Saloons and roadsters are fitted with the award winning 6 liter V-8, a design pioneered by Imperial. Due to its inherent balance and low speed performance, limousines are powered by the 6 liter I-8.
Aircraft Engines
Imperial Motors is Torentine Empire's leading producer of civilian and defensive aircraft engines. This includes the new Phobia-4 turbojet propulsion series now in the final phase of testing.
Customers
Consumers of IMC automobiles include government agencies, high ranking officials, nobility or people of some fame. An Imperial auto is generally considered a must have toy for the super-rich or for the government official trying to impress. Some of the more prominent owners of these are:
- Imperator Tiberius of Etruria
- Praetor Rayden Lord Belesarious of Antara
- Chairman Mao Enlai of the Catai Commonwealth and was gifted to him by Praetor Belesarious on his 55th birthday in 2116.
- Emperor Friedrich II of Caladan, and is his state car.
