Advertising

Gamayel is known throughout the world for its distinctive advertising, such as the gleaming white steamships that carry mangoes to port or the ubiquitous red, elliptical stickers bearing their logo affixed to bananas. The full-page adverts taken out in foreign newspapers take advantage of the stereotype of inland Kantonia as an exotic paradise where colorfully-dressed natives pluck fruit off trees to wear on large hats for dancing the kalano.
