Zîrkæ national flag

The national flag of Zîrkæ consists of three horizontal stripes in the colours black, white and red. In the middle a red star with a yellow lining is placed. The three colours represent the three traditional cultural regions of the RPZ.

Red is the national colour of the Mîrson Republic, white is the colour of the Zîrkænian heartland around Komsomol and black is the colour of the south-west coastal region, which did not form an unity with the rest of of the country until the mid 1300's.

The black-white-blue flag is used for and by all civil institutions, where blue is the colour of the Zîrkænian nation in general. There are several laws regarding the use of both flags, the black-white-red variant is far more often used than than the black-white-blue flag.
