Taeropolis is the capital of Taereoca and the seat of its king, Marcus Philidor. It was originally founded in 1056 by Patriarch Sixtus of Valania, when Taereoca was still under Valanian rule. It is the only settlement of any note in the whole country, the rest of the population making do in mountain villages and the occasional small town.
