The Kingdom of Unified Rajanan (Rajya Apita Rajanan) is a country in western Niveria divided into three enclaves bordering the Cisteuvian Ocean on the west coast of Zîrkæ. It is one of the smallest countries in continental Niveria and the world's only Srivanan monarchy, and over 80% of its people follow this faith. Nagorda Is the capital and largest city.

History

The first inhabitants of the region that is now Rajanan are believed to have been Rahuns. They arrived from the Walkers Islands also known as Mogoron Islands in the Cisteuvian Ocean according to folk tales and antropogists believe that the Rahuns first populated Rajanan at some time after 100 BCE. Local chiefs, called Adis, ruled their settlements and fought to extend their influence and defend their communities from predatory rivals. Warfare was widespread. The general trend was toward chiefdoms of increasing size and supremacy.

After a series of battles that ended in 895 CE the Rajan kingdoms were united for the first time under a sigle ruler who would become known as Oduod the Massive. He established the House of Descarrehada a dynasty that still rules Rajanan. Oduod the Massive 59 year rule was marked by increased centralization of the government and increasing monarchical power.

In late 1151 CE Rajanan was occupied by Loirisian-Abanurian troops, led by The Marquis de Miquelon, who aimed to create a Great Abanurian Empire. He was able to amalgamate all of the Rajanan territory into one colony, but shortly after the invation the Loirisian-Abanurian Empire collapsed and most of the Loirisian invaders remain in Rajanan ultimately integrating into the Rajan culture and society. The Marquis de Miquelon deposed Adhipa Machandra V, married his oldest daughter Princess Somehandra, converted to Srivanan and crown himself Adhipa Mahindra I.

In the year 1235 CE Rajanan declared war on the First Zirkaenian Republic due to mounting ethnic conflict between Rajans and Zikaens in the Rajan provinces of Kuratnapura and Gampola, and Zirkae’s need of a easier access to the Astalian Sea. After two years of war Rajana lost most of its territory to Zirkae, redrawing the borders that remain till this day. In 1365 Tareoc forces invaded southwestern Niveria, colonizing Rajanan and Zirkae. Rajanan attained independence as the Kingdom of Unified Rajanan in 1492 after joining Zirkae’s revolutionary war.
