Jalarel (Kassatic: Jaalre) is the second city of Valania as well as the centre of the Iudean faith. Lying on the Valania-Kassaten border, the city is divided in two. North Jalarel, the larger part of the city, is Valanian and contains much of the city's business district. South Jalarel (Zuid-Jaalre) is part of Kassaten and contains many of the older parts of the city, including the Old Citadel, which contains the first Iudean temple. For information on the history of Jalarel, see the article on Iudeanism.
