A far-left party, the Kollektivistische Partij (Collectivist Party) of Kassaten adheres to the more doctrinal type of socialism, claiming the Social-Democratic Party (Kassaten) abandoned its roots. While an opposition party on a national scale, it is also co-operating with the SDP in the governments of several cities, amongst them Linberg.
