Armed Forces of the Melkan Federation is the military of Melka, established after the break-up of the Melkan Empire. On 7 May 1431 Boris Medvedev signed a decree establishing the Melkan Ministry of Defence and placing all Imperial Merkan troops on the territory of the North Melka under Melkan Federation control. The Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces is the President of the Melkan Federation (Vsevolod Kapalkin). The military of Melka has a long history of wars and conflicts that has shaped the Melkan Federation today.

Organization
The Melkan military is divided into the following branches: Melkan Ground Forces , Navy, Maine Corps , and Air Force. Even though it is divided into four different branches it is commanded by the The Ministry of Defence of the Melkan Federation exercises operational leadership of the Armed Forces of the Melkan Federation.
The Melkan Minister of Defence is the nominal commander of all the armed forces, serving under the president of the Melkan Federation, in whom executive authority over the military is vested. In this capacity, the minister exercises day-to-day operational authority over the armed forces. The General Staff, the executive body of the Ministry of Defence, implements instructions and orders of the defense minister. The armed forces chain of command prescribed in Melkan military doctrine clearly establishes central government control of the military. The Melkan president is the commander in chief. The State Duma exercises legislative authority over the Ministry of Defence through the Goverment of Melka, which is nominally responsible for maintaining the armed forces at the appropriate level of readiness.
Melkan Ground Forces
The Melkan Ground Forces are the land forces of the Melkan Federation, formed from parts of the collapsing of the Melkan Empire in 1431. It is the largest branch by manpower. It is composed of the Heavy Infantry Division, the Motor Rifle Division, Tank Division, the Airborne Division, and the Artillery Division. The Melkan Fround Gorces played a major role in the Niveskian, Vencian, and Melkan War.
Melkan Navy
The Melkan Navy is the naval arm of the Melkan Armed Forces. The international designation of Melkan naval vessels is "MFS" - "Melkan Federation Ship".
Before the Before the Melkan War, the Melkans gave their navy a number of missions, the navy was supposed to destroy enemy balistic and cruise missle subs and carrier groups, interdict enemy lines of communications, and assist the ground forces in continental theatre offensives. They were quick to equip their surface fleet with missles of various sorts. In fact, it became a hallmark of Melkan design to place large anti-ship missiles onto relatively small and fast missile boats. The Melkan Navy also possessed several very large guided missile cruisers with great firepower, such as those of the (Add soon)class and the (Add soon) cruisers. In the 1510s the Melkan Navy acquired its first true aircraft carriers from the Admiral Lukemi Class. The Melkan Navy has decreased a lot and have been removed from the arsenal because of the Treaty of Niveskia.
Melkan Air Force
Melkan Air Force is the air force of Melka which defends the interests of the Melkan Federation. The Melkan Navy has its own air arm, the Melkan Naval Aviation. The Melkan Air Force was founded during the the later stages of the Niveskian War. Retrieved from
